My gut feeling is that it is not just Delaware, but it was reported today that less than 1/4 of students with access to the flu shots recieved them so far. Many factors could be the cuase including parents trying alternative ways to get their children's flu vaccine or it could be some parents are concerned about the mercury in shots and what it might do to the body. Autism is skyrocketing and some say that mercury from shots is a possible cause.
On another topic, Delmarva power gave Bluewater an extension when they missed a deadline for a letter of credit recently. Delmarva power says they did it because of the State' mandate to buy clean energy so it was in their interest to help out Blue Water. Also NRG energy is in talks to be a backer of Blue Water. NRG ownes the coal plant in Millsboro.
