A day starting off poorly!

After an exciting last week or so; I've had some struggles as this week has moved forward!

As I was dropping my wife off at work today; somebody shot out in front of me and across traffic.

Making a quick decision did save me from having a big accident and a very injured vehicle if nothing else. However, I swerved off the road and into a construction site. While making that quick thinking movement, I did hit a vehicle barrier as the construction of the new road has them off to the side the whole way down. That impact took my passenger side view mirror right off and destroyed it into little pieces.

I am thankful that I moved quickly enought to stave off a brutal impact to my entire car and certainly staved off the possibility of injuries.

To be something I'm not which is politically correct; I will keep it to a minimum by saying that the driver of the commercial truck that caused this is someone who, well, to keep it tamed; isn't legally in this country.

It totally ticks me off and while he did stop and get out to see if there were injuries; I pretty much ignored him as my anger rose. My inital reaction would have been to get physical but I restrained myself and didn't demand compensation or any scare tactics which I could have and should have probably used. I was boiling over with emotion at his lack of driving style and the fact that he shouldn't even be on our roads in the first place.

Well, I will be heading off now for the rest of my day and I hope to make it a better one as it didn't start off that well. I do, however, always look at the cup half full so I believe it all could be worse.

Stay positive! Stay strong! Keep those properly priced listings coming in and believe in God and everything else will work itself out accordingly.
