Today is a special day - my friend, Susie Roscoe, joined Active Rain with me 4 months ago today. It has been a fun, education, rewarding journey that has only just begun and sharing it with a friend like Susie makes it so much better!!!

If you haven't met Susie Roscoe - you need to. What I love about Susie is that she knows who she is 100% - few of us are that clear. She is a MOM first of 2 amazing boys and she is an awesome Mom - I've seen her in action and she's a great Realtor because she brings that same authenticity to her work and her clients.

Susie has the best laugh and contagious energy and has become one of my closest friends. Some might think since we could be competitors that it's weird but we are so comfortable with each other - but we are and ironically quite often actually refer to each other and sometimes we show and try sell the other's listing.

When we began "blogging" - I caught the bug first and she finally figured she would joined me - when it comes to sleeping schedules we are the opposite - she is up at 5am and I am going to bed then (ok maybe 1am or 2am) so it was really funny when we concocted a "slumber party" at Susie's house to work on our blogs one night. I was hoping for pictures but it was a "what happens at the party stays at the party" kind of night :-)

I have benefited in so many ways from my involvement with Active Rain - today Susie also received her first lead from Active Rain - the woman said we had other Realtor to call but we just felt so comfortable after reading your information. That is Susie - someone you can immediately feel comfortable with. Susie is the Top Realtor for Brandon and Valrico FL on Active Rain

Much is said on Active Rain about reciprocity and commenting - Susie is diligent about giving back to others - with gusto online and in life. So as July 9th 2007 comes to an end - I want to thank Susie and all the other people that have made AR such a special place and experience for me.

My wish today is that everyone may experience the benefits and friendships of Active Rain. I'm glad to be a small part of it!

Tomorrow I'm planning to meet the guys from Sellius - it just keeps getting better and better.
