Should City Code Enforcement Give Citations To Lenders That Do Not Kept Up With Their Forclosures?

Should City Code Enforcement Give Citations to Lenders That Do Not Kept Up There Forclosures?

Every City or Town has them, "Code Enforcement", the "Little Pick Up Trucks" that drive through each neighborhood to make sure everyone has "Pride of Ownership".

If you don't, You may get a Citation for a roof that needs power washing, roofs that need repair, grass that is not cut, air conditioners that can be seen from the street (need to be behind a fence or scrubs), your trim or house needs to be painted, your trash cans are on the street and its not garbage day and the list goes on and on.

I have noticed more and more lately driving through neighborhoods that the "Little Pick Up Trucks" haven't been around much. Where have they gone?

As more and more homes are being Forclosed, properties are being totally neglected. Nicely trimmed lawns now fields, roofs in need of repair, pools that have gone green, broken windows, Yes, some neighborhoods are starting to look like the "SLUM".

So what about the rest of us that paid to have a nice home in a beautiful neighborhood and hold the standard high?

Now my questions are:

If the lender forclosed on a home, did they not assume the responsibility of ownership?

Shouldn't they be responsible to continue with "Pride of Ownership"?

Shouldn't the lender have a same responsibilities the rest of us do?

Where is "Code Enforcement" in the Little Pick Up Trucks that hand out Citations when a property is not up to code.

Shouldn't they send a Citation to the Lender to fix the problem or BE FINED?

Property Values are declining because of the Lenders that Forclose and do nothing!

Lenders blame the consumer for their own neglect, its time for The Lender to take responsibility keep up with the inventory they have created.

Code Enforcement should enforce the Lender to Maintain Their Properties.
