A company called Primerica is trying to get the Crystal River Commons approved. Here is what they say about the project

"Crystal River commons is designed with the environment in mind. Located on the northeast corner of US 19 and CR 494 (Ozello Trail), Crystal River Commons will provide a unique walkable outdoor experience where visitors can spend a day shopping or dining in the Crystal River community. Some may even accomplish a little business.

Crystal River Commons is designed to protect Citrus County's unique natural resources. It will demonstrate that development can be environmentally sensitive AND bring economic benefits to the community."

Like I said, I am still not sure if I believe this. I guess I will just have to wait until the town meetings!!
