Daytona area has 23 miles of the Beach.
The longest shoreline is in Daytona Beach Shores. Being so much smaller than its neighbor Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores “picked” the best place on the beachside. It is bordered by the ocean on the east and Halifax River on the west and is sandwiched between Daytona Beach to the north and Wilbur-by-the-Sea and Ponce Inlet to the South.

Our office is in Daytona Beach, in the oceanfront condo-hotel. And I live in Daytona beach Shhores. I try to walk home from my office as often as I can, and I enjoy walking barefoot on the Beach. On my 4-mile walk, I always notice that some parts of the beach are more crowded than others.

In Daytona Beach Shores, if you are going south, after the Shores Hotel, there is nearly a mile-long stretch of single family homes and then another nearly mile-long stretch of condos before you reach another hotel. And if you are on the beach, you will walk through not crowded, but at least somewhat busy beach where there is concentration of hotels/resorts to deserted stretches of the beach along residential areas.

It was a busy day on the Beach yesterday. The Labor Day weekend. A lot of people come from everywhere to enjoy warm water and sun. It is a busy day on the beach.

Check these photos. They were taken about 11 AM on the beach in Daytona Beach Shores in the Oceans Condos section of the city. See how crowded the beach is on a busy day.

See, there is still place for you. Just call me 386-405-4408.
