Wow! my husband and I were traveling across state last week and were thrilled to see the price of gas! We didn't hesitate to stop and fill up when we saw $2.38 in Okeechobee! Here are some of the other prices that we encountered..........
Englewood $2.55 down from $2.87
Sarasota $2.39 down from $2.95
Jupiter $2.58 down from $3.01
Arcadia $2.60 down from $2.84
Englewood, Florida is largely a tourist area with many of our seasonal residents concerned about previously escalating gas prices. Many of them have been in contact with us lately indicating that reduced gas prices may result in earlier trips to our area this year (that and the reduction in hurricane traffic). That's a positive for us, obviously!
What trends are you seeing with gas prices in your area and do you feel there will be any positive reflection of that trend on your real estate business?

Here in highland park gas prices went from $2.99 per gallon to about $2.79. Earlier this summer prices were at about $3.39 per gallon. Things seem to be getting better.
A great site to find the best gas prices in the area is Gas Buddy. It's a very informative and clever look at gas prices around the nation and in your own hometown!
Today I saw 2.19 here in Carteret County- Eastern NC!!!! Seems to be dropping a nickel a week-ish....
Can you believe we are getting excited! I drive a Toyota Sequois so you can imagine it stays thirsty !
BTW- the hype about going over $4 this summer ALMOST forced me to rethink and trade in for something much smaller!
Glad I was able to hang in there.
