Many times we forget just how lucky we are. Now that I am a real estate agent with Sellstate Achievers Realty, Inc., I have been forced to realize just how lucky I am, and how great of a place Tanglewood is to live. Constantly, we hear stories of renters stripping homes of everything down to copper pipes in the walls, banks paying renters bonuses to NOT tear up the home before they move out. I just don't see it in my neighborhood. There is one property on my street looking delampdated and I have been desperate to get in touch with the owner due to the fact that I have spoken with three young ladies that all want that home. I live on Oaklawn Ct, and it might as well be named for a park. Every afternoon after school is out there are orange plastic cones placed in the middle of the street and the games begin. On any given day you may see a dozen boys and girls dressed in camo playing war games, or up to twenty completely engrossed in a game of street hockey. Oaklawn is not the only street like this either. Although, when working I may not always love my dogs going crazy every half hour becasue there goes three camo clad 10 year olds running through the back yard closely chased by another three, or a kick ball boouncing off the front of the house. I have to stop and think how close we really all are. Recently my hose and real showed up missing, which I found to be disturbuing, next day neighbor tells me she heard it was lost and found it paculiar that her pressure washing guy had left his. Preasure washing guy doesn't live on my street... hose and real back in my yard. Its a great place where neighbors look out for one and other. Even the gator fans on the street are tolerable, just kidding. The Saturday games truely bring out the best of community. Soemtimes it has taken me days to find my Seminole flag or my gator hung by noose but I always get them back; on the other hand, sometimes it has taken longer for them to get their gator flag from my garage. I believe time are different from when I grew up being allowd to take off in the morning on my mongoose and not be home until the dinner bell rang, Tanglewood can be that kind of place. Families now have to oppurtunity to get in more reasonably than ever and should take advantage while they can. We're filling up quickly. Take care of those close to you, it always comes back, and watch out for one eyed bulldogs, he can't always watch you
