If you need to commute to work every morning, which ever property is closer or more convenient should get a positive consideration. In terms of location, a buyer should also think about the quality and safety of the neighborhood. Crime statistics for neighborhoods are available online or you can visit the local police station and request the most recent reports.
Another quality to consider is which property is more likely to appreciate. If one home is in a much better neighborhood than another it’s likely the home in the better neighborhood will appreciate over time. Also the quality of the home itself can help predict its future appreciation in value.
