I'm sure you heard by now in the local news, the fury of Twitter and Facebook. Perhaps you follow Twitter folks around the country, here in Lakeland or around Polk County. Want to meet your local followers face-to-face? Then come and join Lakeland area bloggers and other social media users such as Twitter or Facebook on March 31^st, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ledger's lobby building at 300 West Lime Street, Lakeland Florida 33813

Barry Friedman, the Ledger's Managing Editor/Digital, offered the use of the Ledger's lobby - Refreshments and tours of the Polk county newspaper of record are on the agenda.
