Longwood Florida is one of the oldest cities in Seminole County and joins Orange, Oseolla and Lake county as apart of Central Florida. A lumber town incorporated in 1875 Longwood still today shows it roots through its historic downtown district and is home to the "Senator" the oldest and largest Oak tree in Florida.
If you are looking for a country club community I recommend looking at Alaqua or Sabal Point single family living or condominiums. Sweetwater Oaks is an established neighborhood with deeded lake access to Lake Brantley and the Wekiva River, parks, playgrounds & desirable Lake Brantley area schools.
Although Longwood is known for their country clubs you can also find more moderately priced homes built in the 1980's that have held their value due to Longwood's continued popularity. You can search the MLS in Longwood for the latest homes for sale.
