Showing Instructions

As a "Full time" Realtor I am frustrated with the lack of showing instructions, and worst of all no call back?? After some digging I find the listing agent is in real estate "Part Time" and punching a clock for a full time job. No problem, what ever it takes to pay the bills.

I have some suggestions to help us all. *Leave full showing instructions in your office or on showing desk, *Enter full showing instructions in listing, include gate codes, lock box codes, and alarm codes. There is a secure showing instructions section. *Co Broke with a full timer. Some of something is better than nothing. *Refer the lead, Let the full timer give the service and you collect a reduced commission.

The market requires us to give 110% to all! We can help each other!

If you dial our number, a Realtor will answer the phone - day or night - and will meet you with little or no notice....there needs to be more professionals in our profession.

Im a fraid we all are seeing this. I just hope im not one of them. The bottom line hasnt been this skinny in a while. But I will still leave great showing instructions! Lol

I love the ones that say in the MLS - call office - then the office says call agent - then the agent says call Seller. THAT'S WHEN I SAY _ __ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ !!!!!!!!

I think this market is going to weed out the part time agents, they are not going to be able to survive!!! More business for the true professionals!

We need more professional conscience among us professionals in this field. I don't believe it has anything to do with being a part-time or full-time. Because I meet more full-timers who are under your lists. We have to go back to basics - time management! If you think you can do more -- with full efficiency -- do so. Like if you want to be a part-timer RE agent, make sure you have TIME for it. If you think you can handle more and more Listings -- do so, but do not forget, full time or part, you have a full duty and responsibilty to your clients!! Aim to serve them - than sell - because all the good service you give will result to SOLD!

Part time or full time getting some agents to answer their phone or email is almost a wasted effort.  Sure makes the job harder then it should be.

I feel your frustration.  We want the property to be shown so we always include listing instructions and if it says call listing office and the seller needs to be contacted, our office will call the seller and call you right back.  It should take no more than 2 minutes to set up a showing appointment but you are right some agents just aren't available and then you may be unable to show the property because you haven't heard if it is ready to show or not.  Their loss and unfortunately, their seller's loss.

It is frustrating and I use to get crazy over it. Now I see the times Florida has to face and I know A lot of good agents MUST get part time work. But they should team up with a full timer you will never get a home sold if it can't be shown.

We have tried to contact listings agents that are part-time and who cannot talk on the phone at thier "other"  jobs.  and do not return calls in the evenings. When you call their office, the secetary says "I can't reach them either"
