Furniture and Appliance Moving Got You Down? Check This Out

As always, when I see something I think all of us stagers can use to make our jobs easier, I try to post to the groups. Here's another one I just saw on TV. The website includes a video. These moving straps are amazing. I just ordered a set to try out myself. Check out the website!

You're welcome Bill.  I wonder if they really work the way the video says?  Sure would save a lot of backs if they do!

Thanks for the info.  I watch my movers use these and never thought how helpful it would be to have a set .  One more trip to the physical therapist might now be avoided!

Yep Jo, my thinking exactly.  Glad you have seen them in action.  Wish I had them when we had appliances to move not too long ago.  Better late than never.

Good find, Terry! Beyond staging, I can see lots of use for these around my house. My back thanks you, too!

I have seen these, I think, on a late night paid tv ad show. I agree they are soemthing that looks like it might be great to have. Thanks for the info.

Terry, I had seen something similar on the U-haul site a while back and sort of dismissed them. Then the other day I watched the two young men who delivered my new washing machine use them to remove the old washing machine. I was able to talk to them about the ease of use and that sort of thing. They said it took a little time to get the hang of it but they really do like using it now. Of course, they made it look easy. I wonder. One thing I know, I can not live without my sliders. This may be another good thing to add to my toy. . . I mean my tool box. Another really good post!

Terry,

Thanks a lot and thanks for the comments from those who have actually used them or seen them being used. AR rocks for stuff like this!

Kathy, Pam, Yvonne, thanks for the feedback.  The price justifies the purchase, its less money than a trip to the chiropractor.  Glad to have first hand information.  I feel better about my decision :-)

Susan, yes one of the reasons we read AR posts.  The information we get is sometimes invaluable!
