Improving a Home Showing

Everyone knows it’s a lot harder to sell South Florida homes these days. If you’ve made it as far as getting a buyer to take a look at your home, you’re quite lucky and should therefore go out of your way to make the home look impressive while avoiding the several pitfalls that can turn off interested buyers.

The same way you’d feel if you were to walk into a stranger’s home and poke and prod is the same way a buyer feels as they’re doing a walkthrough of the home they intend to buy. That’s why it’s strongly recommended that you stay somewhere else during the time the real estate agent is giving the buyer a walkthrough of your home, the buyer will feel much more at ease without you being there.

There are a few things that go without saying (i.e.: cleanliness) but let’s discuss pets for a second. It could be argued that a small pet will give a home more of an inviting familial atmosphere but then again not everyone are into pets, not matter how “cute and cuddly” they may be. You should also make arrangements to keep the canine or feline out of the house during a South Florida homes showing.
