Nearly to the Point of Annoyance a Small Wish is about to be Granted

Many times after Open Houses on Sunday I visit my favorite restaurant in Naples, Handsome Harry's. It is on the way back to the Office on 5th Avenue and I always have some reports to write after the week ends. Mine happens to end on Sunday evening, as it has for quite a number of years. I've known Wendy from her singing here on Sundays from 6:30 to close for about the past 3 years and it is such a treat to hear her brilliant vocals permeate the air. A sweet way to close the week!

Now about the wish. I have been bugging Wendy to sing a favorite song of mine for about the last year or so. Her voice is magical to me and I've always felt that she could make a perfect match singing this 1962 classic Claudine Clark single, Party Lights. Actually, it was strangely her one and only hit for such a smart and talented singer. Not that she didn't make the attempt, the hits just never followed. Ironically, this song, "Party Lights", was the flip-side of her first radio single debut "Disappointed" which failed to capture the listener's attention. Party Lights brought her notoriety reaching #5 on the charts and remains popular today.

Wendy has graciously accepted the challenge and I'm hoping to hear her rendition this coming Sunday!
