Naples FL is on the West Coast of FL in Paradise!

A common question I receive from my friends up north, past colleagues, mostly friends from Face Book is “Where are you in FL”?

Once again, to answer the question, despite all of the beautiful photos you see me post on Face Book and Active Rain Links, I am in Naples FL. If anyone has been to Naples, they will not forget it and never have to ask again.

Naples Florida is on the west coast of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico.

Naples is South of Ft. Myers Florida, and way far south of Tampa.

Naples is West of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.

We spent years exploring Florida and fell in love with Naples. South West Florida includes Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero and Ft. Myers.

Also called the Paradise Coast, Naples is truly paradise. The weather is wonderful, there is always a breeze and there is sunshine mostly every day.

Naples was founded during the late 1880’s by a Confederate and Kentucky Senator and his business partner. They compared the mild weather, abundant fishing and wild life and white sandy beaches to Naples Italy, thus the name Naples.

In 2009 Naples was ranked one of the 10 “priciest cities worth its high cost”.

There is a property for sale in Naples FL for everyone, from condos in the low $20,000 range to estates on the water for millions and millions of dollars.
