NORTH PALM BEACH MARINE PATROL IS PARTNERING WITH U.S. COAST GUARD

BOATING SAFETY: Summer is the time for fun, and the NORTH PALM BEACH MARINE PATROL ALONG WITH THE U.S. COAST GUARD AUXILIARY will conduct safety checks for vessel safety at marinas and launch ramps.

Boaters launching from Anchorage Park are encouraged to take advantage of this free service. BOAT SAFETY CHECK.

These are the necessary equipment boaters will need for water safety: three flares, current fire extinguisher, a sound producing device, one life jacket for each person on board.

Running lights (left, right, and stern) must be operational.

Fuel tanks will be checked for proper ventilatin.

The boats deck will need to be free of hazards.

You will recieve a decal to desplay after a successful boat check.

Boaters will not be penalized if the boat does not pass inspection, but if your boat is boarded by law enforcement you can be fined for safety deficiences.

Boat registrqations must be on board at all times.
