THAT’S VERY NICE THAT YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR HOME YOURSELF… ON A DEAD END STREET!

Just out of curiosity Mr & Mrs Seller, when did you want to be in your new home? Oh, so you’re in contract and need to close in 6 weeks! You’d really like to sell this home so you don’t have to take out a mortgage and in addition you don’t want to pay a real estate commission to those no good lazy Realtors. Hmmm, I see!
You’ll pay me a commission if I bring you a buyer, interesting. So what I hear you saying is that you want the activity that you know I can bring to the table but you are a cheapskate who would cheat me out of every bit of money that I work for if you can.
Why on God’s green earth would I want to work with or for you? Just a little FYI I was born at night, BUT NOT LAST NIGHT!
As a “for sale by owner” you are setting yourself up for a major disaster that could yield you far less than if you listed today with a Realtor. Our Multiple Listing Service allows your home to be viewed on a multitude of real estate sites in regions far beyond your imagination. It is the information highway that most buyers are searching for their next home on daily. You’ve got this rinky-dink sign in front of your home that you think will catch the attention of that perfect buyer… think again, you might as well have your home for sale with no traffic on a DEAD END STREET!
I’d like you to take a good look at your family. Do you love them? Would you want someone who is really not interested in your house, but rather in what you have IN your house, possibly including your family to come knocking at your door requesting a showing? Of course you are not going to open the door and let them in just like that, are you? I’d put dollars to donuts you will! DANGER LIGHTS SHOULD BE FLASHING IN YOUR HEAD RIGHT NOW! Or are you ignoring them because you want to save the commission?
There is a whole lot more that Realtors bring to the table than what meets the eye, but you go ahead and knock yourself out with your FSBO, I’ll list and sell the homes of those who recognize my value as a Realtor!
