Central Florida Real Estate Happenings -- Mortgage fraud, again?

A person is going to be involved with the LAW for being a bad Mortgage Officer It seems a company called "Livewire" has been doing some pretty shady things with peoples mortgages in central Florida.

As of this writing two central Florida home owners properties are in foreclosure because the company that supposedly closed the deals and was taking payments from the owners has not payed the bank on the loans to pay for them.

One home owners payments have not been made to the bank since October of 2006, even though he has paid "Livewire" faithfully every month since taking occupancy!

What makes matters worse is that two companies have stepped in to "help" the stressed out home owners, but the "help" has come with harassment.

  • One company named Firenze Property Solutions owned by Robert Bove has done such things described by one owner as this: "They would bang on my door and leave me notes underneath (the door) and they were very threatening notes," the owner said. "I was scared."
  • Bove was arrested for allegedly trying to pass worthless checks in N.Y. totaling $25,000. He was also arrested a second time for failing to appear in court, the report said.

"Somebody needs to fight back against these people," another owner said.

Apparently that is happening now....and I am glad!!

Since a local TV news story first uncovered the apparent Livewire scandal a while back, the case has made it to the Florida State Prosecutor's Department for possible prosecution...........

Go get 'em Officer!

Just the facts.....please...just the facts.....

We had a similar story in our local newspaper this past weekend. It's unbelievable how many people will prey on those in need. I hope they punish the offenders to the fullest extent of the law.

I would love to see some stricter laws for these type of crimes. It's like kicking people when they are down! Not the type of help they need.

Mayeb a class action lawsuit is in order here, hmm?

I think i am going to have to do something about this...I am getting upset about this situation......

Are you sure you do NOT have a lawyer to represent all of you?

If not, I can try to find one.....

=-/

I would think $1000 per day fine is enough to move him into positive action hmm?

Lets hope so!!

A lawyer would help in this situation I think...... do you want me to look for one for all of you?

Will anyone let the one I find represent them?

I read the article AND the comments about it......

It breaks my heart for all of you.......

=-\

We talked on the phone and I am shocked at what is going on.........

And I am at a loss......

=-/

Oh my goodness.  Florida has cerntainly had it share of challenges.  Weather, taxes, insurance, market conditions and now fraud.  Better times are bound to be ahead.

I would do that..... I am amazed at the things some "owners" do........

I await to see how things turn out!!

=-)

Well...it looks like Mr. Bove will get his just time due him...I hope everything works out for you and those he took advantage of, my friend.....

You are so welcome..... I am glad Mr. Bove will be in jail...I am hoping for good things to happen your life..... Contact me any time!!

=-)

I am sure Mr. Bove will be given what he deserves....so, so sad........

And yes...prison is NOT the same as jail...Mr. Bove will more than likely make some..."friends".....

Ya never know...he MIGHT get "introduced" to someone....hehehehe!!
