Pembroke Pines FL was incorporated in 1960....the city has a population of 150,064 and took the name Pembroke from its location along Pembroke Road and the many pine trees in the area. The name may have been from an early landowner from Britain known as the Earl of Pembroke.

Brio has just opened here. I have been to one in Allen, TX. and another in Southlake, TX. I would recommend it to anyone. I especially like the tiny deserts. They are a perfect serving for one with less guilt!
