I mean how many studies do you think it would take and money wasted to figure out, the banks need to lighten up on what it takes to get a loan. Trim the fat out of Fannie and Freddie by simple replacing anyone that got a bonus in the last 10 years. Get all the regulations out of the way and lock up any lobbyist that comes with a 100 mile radius of Fannie or Freddie offices. Put people that have actually worked in the mortgage business for 25 years or longer in charge of Freddie and Fannie, fire all the sweethearts that got jobs because they were owed a favor or knew someone.
