As of the end of the month there were 215 homes for sale in Pinecrest Florida.

31 homes were under contract schedule to close.

In September, 18 homes were sold/closed.

September’s highest sale was for $1,900,000 lowest was for $482,500

The Pinecrest FL real estate market is doing much better in 2009 than it did in 2008. In 2008 I feel the country was in so much turmoil and dealing with so many unknowns that folks were just afraid of making any major economic decisions. In 2009 things have settled down a bit, the election is behind us, we are dealing with the banking turbulence, interest rates are still attractive, etc.

Just to do a monthly comparison, the Pinecrest FL real estate market report for the month of September 2008 would have shown that only 7 homes were sold/closed with the highest price being $925,000 and lowest being $357,000. When I put together the 2009 market report for the full year and compare it to 2008 figures, I think we will see the same pattern.
