A Day At The Beach

With the afternoon temperatures reaching that perfect 80 something range, these make for perfect beach days. So, take a day off and pack up the family and enjoy. For those of you whose family includes a dog:

Sanibel beaches if leashed. Since Fort Myers Beach became a town, it has declared that pets may be on the beach as long as they are under leash control. Keep them away from county-controlled park and beach areas. Pets are allowed in the park area of Lover's Key, but not in the water or on the beach. The only beach that allows dogs off leash is Bonita Beach Dog Park, located between Bonita Springs and Fort Myers beach.
