The best darn country and western event in town will be held on on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Tradition Field from 4 to 8 p.m., and admission is only $1 per person.
Bring your partner and all the little buckaroos and enjoy this old-fashioned hoe-down, with live music, pony rides, bounce house, face painting, petting zoo, games and hayrides provided by Port St. Lucie's Parks and Recreation Department.
The first 200 people in attendance will receive a special gift from your friends at Parks and Recreation.
The day will also include the 7th annual "Cow Chip Toss Contest," with prizes awarded to the winners in each age group.
Admission is only $1, and will entitle everyone to unlimited participation in all the activities offered. Food vendors will also be on hand.
Tradition Field, formerly known as the Mets Stadium, is located at 525 N.W. Peacock Blvd.
