Most of my buyers are not technoSAVY - are yours?
Most of my current buyers are in the 50ish+ (except 2) age group. They are not really understanding what "search engine" means...even though they are using them...AND, they really don't understand most of what I tell them that I can do for them if they are listing or what they can benefit from if they are buying.
When I try to explain how to do this, many of them just say - "Can't you just...."
Then my question to them is..."Do you have children?" Perhaps they can help you or show you what I am trying to walk you through.
This just happened (with success) a week ago for me. I have a customer who (if they could not do a condo interview via SKYPE) they would have had to fly down to Florida in person to do an interview. When I told my customer what the association suggested as an alternative to an inperson interview...they had no idea what I was talking about. I said, "Perhaps your son would know what I mean." The customer googled "SKYPE" and had a little more understanding. The buyer called his son and his son said, "Oh yea Dad, I use it all the time, no problem." Using this format (his son set it up for him), saved this customer the airfare for him and his wife and ended up as a useful tool for them to use in the future.
Do you suggest this type of tool to your customers when they need to have a condo association interview?
It's a great tool....and it's even better when you have children or neighbors who can help you set it up.
WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS type of situation?
