In this market, get back to basics...it's all about friends, family and previous customers for your referral base.
Yes, you can. You can use every marketing tool out there, you can pay for leads, increase your SEO by doing this and that, but the BEST PLACE to find real live buyers and sellers is through friends and family.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, is through previous buyers and sellers who were happy with your service. Coldwell Banker sends out surveys after you have successfully sold a listing or sold a property to a buyer. This is a great tool to use when you are looking to prove your worth to new customers.
Most of my new buyers have been referrals. AND, it's because people who have purchased or sold through me are talking about it to their friends. When a buyer or seller is happy, they will tell 10 friends...no different than them telling 10 people who will tell 10 more if you don't do a great job.
So, keep in contact with your customers. It is pretty easy for me as I've become very good friends with 75% of my buyers or sellers. The other 25% are because they were younger customers my childrens age, however, I still get referrals from them as well.
Keeping in contact with your customers is key to a successful business adventure...DON'T YOU THINK - OR WHAT DO YOU THINK?
