The rationale of Real Estate.
Pretty simple, people need a home, a hostel, or an apartment. A place to provide protection and a place to keep a family safe. In recent times, people are losing their jobs, they are looking anywhere to provide a safe place for their families to reside.
That being said, with job losses at an all time high and people losing their homesteads, people are getting very desperate. Many families are living together with not enough room. Children are sleeping on the floors next to their parents in sleeping bags. Just happy to have a roof above their heads.
Rationale...is based or defined on reasoning. It is what is sensible.
In the current market many people are resorting to un-rational measures to save families from living in horrific situations.
Why? My friend told me the other day, a counseller told her (with an ill relative - and she called Hospice for advice) - to get a "REAL" JOB!!! Hello? She is a fantastic Real Estate agent...A REAL JOB...so, a REAL ESTATE AGENT is not a person that has a REAL JOB?
There are hundreds of people who want, what one would consider, a REAL JOB...what, I say to you...is a REAL ESTATE AGENT? That's not a REAL JOB? Those of us who work full time as a REAL ESTATE AGENT...work more hours than most people with so called, "real jobs" and when it's all said and done make less than someone who gets a pay check from a fast food restaurant - [case by case basis, but sometimes].
Real Estate agents work very hard for that commission check. We don't get minimum wage, we don't get paid until the deal is sealed and title is cleared and the deal is done...
We spend hours upon hours looking for the perfect home/condo for you the consumer...until we find one that suits your needs. We drive you to see what you might like, we send you listings that take us sometimes 3 hours to find [each time we send you properties]. Why, because those of us that love our job, want to help you find what you are looking for. We want you to be happy, we want to find you your perfect homestead, and we work hard doing that.
Rationale...we are reasonable people, we extend our hand out to make your life and your search for your dream home a pleasurable experience. We do care about you...we really do.
This is not a lecture to buyers, just a realistic blog.
How do you feel as a buyer and how do you feel as an agent?
It takes a dedicated person to be a great real estate agent...It takes guts and fortitude.
Keep up the great work my AR friends and don't let the market get you down!
It's great here in south Florida! How are you doing?
