Martin County Florida is in South Florida on the East Coast. It is the northern boarder county for the Palm Beaches and is the southern county line for Saint Lucie. The northern edge of the county has Jensen Beach and Palm City. The southern end is Hobe Sound and Northern Jupiter Island. The eastern edge of the county is made up of the Atlantic Ocean, Jensen Beach, Hutchinson Island, Stuart and Hobe Sound and Northern Jupiter Island. Western Martin County is the beautiful area of farmland, equestrian and the inter-coastal waterways: Palm City, Indiantown and West Stuart.

Want to get out and enjoy the ocean or rivers; these two, Jensen Beach, Stuart Beach and their causeways are good spots go. Need to shop? There are a host of little shops like Island Water Sports that can "hook you up" with all your water active wares from flip flops to surf boards or for the less adventurous shopper you can visit the Treasure Coast Mall. When you get hungry and don't want to cook you can find everything from BBQ to Sushi, national names to the family owned restaurants; like Craker Barrel or The Island Bar & Grill. Martin County has plenty of event through out the year.

Martin County is great for the commuter with two ways to get to I 95 and the Turnpike on a main road threw Palm City. If you don't need to have your drive happen at 70 mph. You can take Indian River Drive, which runs right down the Coast of Martin County it has been designated one of "Florida's Scenic Highways".
