From Florida to Tennessee

There is a new name when it comes to retirement! Have you heard it? It whispers sounds of peaceful country living, mountain and bluff views, gorgeous green valleys, crystal clear lakes, rivers and streams, four beautiful seasons, more value for your money, lower taxes, no state taxes, urban cities, abundant outdoor recreation and true southern hospitality. TENNESSEE is calling you!

Did you know that Tennessee has several large lakes to explore? Bring your own boat or rent. Fish for fun or in one of the many tournaments, for prize large and small mouth bass, beautiful record size bluegill and sunfish and state catfish. Enjoy the sounds of whippoorwill's, mocking birds and the thousands of birds that flock to the beautiful Tennessee mountain lakes, ponds and rivers. Even enjoy a little competition as the Kingfishers dive for their dinner.

When it comes to escaping to a place where the wonders of the outdoors are just a step off of your back porch, Tennessee has so much to offer. Whether it be the many beautiful waterfalls, mountains, hiking trails, whitewater rafting, mountain climbing, antiquing, historic townships, urban cities, and many state and national parks. When in Tennessee your occasional Sunday afternoon drive is a pleasure you experience everyday!

I would take Tennessee over Florida any day of the week.  Talk about a gorgeous state!

Except in February :) I have sold a few properties this spring and the sellers moved to TN.

Wow! As a northerner I never knew your state was so beautiful.  I am adding it to my list of places to investigate for our retirement. Thanks.

Wow, what absolutely gorgeous photos!  Did you take those?  That first one of the sun and the mountains is spectacular.  I've had two clients retire to TN - both to Chattanooga.  They are both originally from there so I never thought it was a trend.  Are you seeing that to be the case?  I can see why.  As a border state with VA, I think it's a shame I don't get there more often...actually only been there once on my way to TX.  I'll have to go back again soon.

Wow, beautiful photos?  You take them?  I have been to Florida, but not Tennessee.  I still think I would take Tennessee over Florida.

Have a great vacation.

Amazing photos Christina...I go through you beautiful state about every 5-6 weeks and gaze off wondering what settlers a 150 years ago endured in this beautiful landscape. Very nice post.
