The negative effects of the current state of the housing market can be seen all throughout the U.S. according to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) report, “Extent of Underbuilding in the Single-Family Housing Market.” However, Florida home builder, Highland Homes, is working to keep the Florida home deficit at bay by maintaining their homebuilding pace.
The NAHB study found that the nation is currently in an underbuilt state, meaning that there is an excess demand for new construction. Although Florida is one of the states that have been affected by the housing market downturn, Highland Homes is working to alleviate this by building affordable new homes in Tampa Bay, the Orlando area, Lakeland, Winter Haven, Davenport, Auburndale, St. Cloud, Zephyrhills, Leesburg, Bartow, Ellenton and the Riverview area.
Located in many of our communities across Florida, the Casa Key II floorplan offers buyers luxury and value. With its high ceilings, ceramic tile floors and screened, covered lanai area, you’ll find that this home is perfect for entertaining this holiday season.
Plus, we offer buyers down payment assistance and financing programs so you can move into your new home for only $99 out of pocket. Visit the Highland Homes website for more information about our affordable homes.
