Space Coast Restaurant Review: Doubles Beachside, Indian Harbour Beach, FL

So I am always willing to share my favorites...fav pizza place, fav BBQ, fav Happy Hour...etc... Well my favorite sandwich shop by far is Doubles Beachside in Indian Harbour Beach.

First, a little history. Doubles Hoagies opened in 1983 (across the street from the present location). It was a small sub shop that (from someone who came once a week back in the 80's) was always packed. I was very happy when the new Doubles opened. It is a very large space that has plenty of tables, pool tables, a bar inside the sub shop as well as a separate tiki bar that opens at night.

The hoagies (subs) are really good...with plenty of meat. My favorite is the Friday special...half a tuna sub (it is still huge) with racquet fries and a drink for only $5.66 (exactly $6 with tax)...the perfect lunch!

The inside bar seems to always have a large group around any time day or night and the tiki bar has live music and big weekend crowds.

If you have never tried Doubles come on down...you will usually see me every Friday afternoon having my lunch special :)

Doubles is located on South Patrick Dr about 1/2 mile north of the Eau Gallie Causeway in Indian Harbour Beach. It is on the west side of South Patrick.
