Boeing Corp. has agreed to lease part of the old shuttle assembly building for a minimum of fifteen years...and an option for an additional five years. They will bring 550 high tech jobs back to the Kennedy Space Center. This is the first in what appears to be a long list of companies that NASA the KSC is negotiating with to bring the KSC back to full operation.
The NASA plans are to have the KSC open to both private government jobs as well as the fairly new commercial space industry.

This is not only great news for the State of Florida...it is another positive step for the real estate business on the entire Space Coast. The more high paying high tech jobs that come to the area...the more sought after Space Coast real estate will be.
