I keep being put in the wonderful position of giving out great news about my area on my blog. This news is again about both building in the area as well as high tech job hiring.
Harris Corp....one of our huge employers just announced plans to build a new $100 million engineering center at the companies Palm Bay campus.
The place will be around 450,000 sqft. The construction is to begin in mid 2012 and be finished some time in 2014. 100 new high tech jobs will be added as well as some 300 construction jobs.

It is very interesting how the news continues to call us the struggling Space Coast as each week they announce new jobs being added by major corporations...guess bad news sells better then good news...lol
