Good Signs & Market Indicators on Week # 1 of 2008

Here it is Sunday afternoon, January 6th of 2008 and I am so happy about my business activities this week. My positive attitude was rewarded with very good signs that the holidays are over and folks are starting to spend time looking into real estate!

My phone rang this week.....a lot!! It's a great sound and a good market indicator.

I got calls on my listings and signs from people wanting to view the home.

I got emails, web hits, and inquiries from new buyers. Other agents in my office have also said that their phones are ringing with new buyers.

I have been hoping that 2008 would ring in the new year with plenty of people wanting to start looking for a new home. And this first week gives me a true indication that perhaps buyers have been waiting till the New Year and ready to get busy.

I have added six new buying clients to my database, and have shown homes to two of them just in this first week of the year.

All are motivated buyers, and I will help them achieve their goals for new homes.

Our local market here in the Gainesville-Alachua County Area still has a good inventory of homes and condos for sale. If you are wanting to start looking for a home, please call me. I am never too busy to help you achieve your goals!
