We are constantly asked if now is a good time to sell. Inventory for Osceola County, Florida has reached an all time high. There are, as of this post, over 6500 homes for sale. Compare that to 2 years ago when the average number of homes for sale was approximately 1500. The average sales price is dropping. We are seeing homes sell at 2002 prices.
Is now the right time to sell? We say "YES" - It is the right time to sell, IF and only if you are selling for LIFE reasons. What does that mean? It means that you are accepting a new job, moving to be close to parents, children, and the like.
If you are among those who purchased a home in 2005, 2006, or 2007 - the answer is still the same. In fact time may be of the essence. See our other blog posting titled "Prevent Foreclosure" for more information.
