Land O Lakes Flapjack Festival Residents enjoy the 31st annual Flap Jack Festival in Dade City this year!

This year, the LAND O LAKES Flap Jack Festival will temporarity be held in Dade City.

This October 31st, November 1-2nd the Central Chamber of Commerce and the Dade City community will host the 31st Annual Flapjack Festival, serving FREE Flapjacks on Saturday from 8am -10am. The Festival wil be held on the Pasco County Fair Grounds - 36722 State Road 52, Dade City.

Dade City neighbors Land O Lakes, Lutz, Trinity, Wesley Chapel, and the Greater Tampa Bay Area. What is the FlapJack Festival? Well it started 31 years ago, as a big PANCAKE festival. Come join us on Saturday morning November 1st for breakfast, a

• FREE FLAPJACK (pancake) Breakfast from 8-10 am
• the parade at 11 am

It's History:
31 years ago, in 1977, when a group of community clubs got together to put on an event that would provide fun, food and entertainment for the entire community. The FREE flapjacks were offered for the first time in 1983 and the Land O' Lakes Butter Company of Minnesota supplied the butter that year and every year since. Since those small beginnings the festival has grown every year to the point where it has become not only the biggest event in the community, but an event that attracts visitors from surrounding counties and across the country

Like me and several other Pineview PTA mom's, we are selling the ARM band ride tickets for just $14 in advance ($20 the day of the festival) in the car loop of PineView Elementary School from 9:15 am - 10:00 am. Support PineView Elementary School PTA and buy your flapjack armband ride tickets early from us!

Among the groups benefiting from the Flapjack Festival are: The Land O' Lakes High School Athletic Booster Club, Central Pasco schools, local churches, and other charitable organizations.
