The Lee County Tax Collector has the final 2008 Tax Bills out. While market values have decreased the silver lining is that most people will see a reduction in property taxes. The passing of Amendment 1 should also be something to look forward to. Next years tax bills should be additionally interesting as the calculation for 2008 were based on sales data at the end of 2007. Have market values hit bottom yet?
