Electronic Realestate Agency(R)

At an office meeting recently I learned the ERA(R) was actually short for Electronic Realestate Agency. This was the original idea when fax machines first became popular. They would fax listings between offices when they were received and each office would maintain a book of current listings. Prior to that, they only way you had to build a database of listings was the classified ads in the newspaper.

We have come a long way in technology since then. As a result, 95% of our buyers and sellers live more than 100 miles outside our community. Additionally since my wife and partner Andrea is from Germany, we are effectively able to service German speaking buyers from here in Central Florida using the internet.

Technology has made it possible to service property in our area for people that are not.
