Trying to figure out just how our country could topple so quickly has bothered me for quite some time lately. Lot's of buzz words like credit default swap, toxic asset, etc. were floated around and while I was able to understand bits and pieces, the whole thing didn't become clear until I saw Jonathan Jarvis' piece on it.
