Many Homeowner associations are seeing budget problems due to the high rate of property foreclosure.

So...you live in a neighborhood that has a homeowner association but there is a high rate of property foreclosure and maintanence fees aren't getting paid....so who should be responsible? Well.....if the current homeowner doesn't have the ability to pay then the banks might have to pay the debt in the end.

Many associations have had to hold up on any future projects or renovations needed to spruce up the community. This is going to end up being a major problem that could spread even more.
