It's that time of the year again! Our neighbors from points north and beyond are arriving in droves. Many are here to escape the cold - those long grey, dark, freezing winters! Our climate, even at this time of the year is downright balmy. Yesterday, despite being somewhat rainy, it was still warm enough to wear shorts.
Many of our temporary residents are arriving at an opportune time. There hasn't been a better time to buy real estate in years. And pool homes are no exception! Buying a home, and then building a pool is an option. A typical, though modest, pool will set you back about $22,000. But, buying a pool home in today's environment will cost you about $10,000 more than the comparable non-pool home! What a steal!
As a year round Deep Creek resident, I enjoy my pool year round. And no, it isn't heated! But a plunge sure feels good after a brisk early-morning run through the avenues and boulevards of Deep Creek.
And heating options are not that expensive. DIY options exist for a couple of hundred dollars, and a professionally installed solar heater will cost you a couple of grand!
Anyway, the point of all this rambling is to let our visitors know that we've made the search for a Deep Creek Pool Home extra simple. Just follow the link!
