The Housing Market - oh, the joy and the sting!

I was out and about in the Rockledge Florida area running some errands this morning. As is my practice I always wear my Century 21 Baytree Realty badge. You never know who you may run into who is in the market (or knows someone who is).

On my last stop of the trip I stopped by the Family Dollar Store in Rockledge to grab a few items (there are some good buys on some things). The cashier, a mature lady, asked how the market was doing.

I explained the opportunities are plentiful in the Viera and Rockledge area. She agreed and proceeded to telling me how her grandson had just gotten a great deal in the Three Meadows subdivision in Rockledge.

Then she told me about a lady who stopped in to purchase some plastic storage boxes because she was moving. Her house was worth half the $200,000 mortgage. The downturn in the housing market has touched a lot of people. And few is the number of folks who do not know someone who has felt the sting or the joy.

Now that the $timulu$ plan let's hope the buyers pursue the opportunities. I have an appointment tomorrow morning Schlenker's Auto Service in Rockledge (support your local small business!) to have some work done on my wife's car. I will be there early (8:00 a.m.), with my badge on, talking real estate. Stop by and talk real estate!

Hi Gary, I agree.  I wear my Century 21 name tag just about wherever I go.  It is a great way of prospecting without saying a word.

Hi Gary - You are right.  Alsome everyone knows someone who has flet the sting of this housing market.

Dianne - It is still a recognized symbol of excellence. Wear it with pride!

Pam - All we can do is listen at times - and that helps a bit. Thanks.

Hi Gary, incidentally, I read an article today that business for car repair places is up! Hopefully, you should run into plenty of prospects!
