Palm Beach County Western Communities - Western Lake Worth, Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Golfing & Equestrian Real Estate.

Royal Palm Beach is just 20 minutes from downtown and CityplaceThere is no doubt about the past and future growth of the Western Communities in the West Palm Beach real estate market . I don't mean Western, like horses parked in front of local bar or canteen. We are talking about communities in the West side of West Palm Beach (and the Florida Turnpike) from as far South as Delray Beach all the way up to Royal Palm Beach.

The real estate in Royal Palm Beach is booming with growth, streets widened, lots are being cleared and bridges built for access, new buildings seem to appear overnight boasting more stores than you can shake a stick at (or will be able to soon). This is to include small retail strip malls, medical office space, larger chain stores like Best Buy (Wellington on 441) and super Target (in Boynton Beach on 441 & in Royal Palm Beach off 441). Land is being cleared for a new 10,000 home community in Royal Palm Beach.

The Western communities are poised for growth and values will benefit from it. Many amenities are available in the West with the newer Wellington Mall, Equestrian Neighborhoods, Golf Communities, Retirement communities and local parks are within reach. Speaking of local parks, a large planned park is going to be built just South of the Wellington Mall.

The major expansion of Southern Blvd into a 6-8 lane major roadway artery is a clear hint. We are poised for growth in the years to come.

Each of the Western communities has something for you.

Enjoy Golfing? Madison Greeen offers a lifestyle to match a golfers dream.

It is amazing how much land is available in Palm Beach. Amazing how 441 looks in Palm Beach vs. Broward and Dade! If Palm Beach follows the path of Broward, once those roads and key infrastructure are in place...the development will keep sprawling west...which from a planning and environmental stand point isnt such a good thing...but we shall see. (Came back to finish my thought!)

Hi Shekeria,. there is a huge difference in 441 down South when compared to Palm Beach. This has grown a lot though. It used to be 2 lanes way back when.. There is more of a feeling of space as its not all developed, with tree farms and nursery's along State Road 7. Southern was expaned to a 6-8 lane highway which runs East/West, and this will make the West grow beyond what we can imagine today. Even all the way out by Lake Okechobee.

Thanks for stopping by. :)

Hi Nick - very nice post for your area!  You paint a very nice picture in your posts, both with pictures and your written descriptions of various community features.

Thanks Ann.. Since the area offers so much, it's not that hard. When you sit down and look at it, it's obvious there is something for everything. I'll be working on the map via the 'Retirement Communities' little by little. I have to insert some photos when I get the chance. :)

Hi Nick,

This is a beautiful post. How do you get those borders?  Surely we've missed alot here in the Rain.  It's moving so fast with so much great stuff to read.  Have you started your gardening yet?  Thanks for sharing your area with us!

You always do such a great job at highlighting your part of the worl, Nick. I have only been to Miami once - and that was just long enough to board a cruise ship. After reading the posts of both YOU and Ines, I really want to come out and visit.

Can I surf? (I can snowboard quite well...)

Nick, you have found your own style and look.  You are one of a kind my friend.

Hi Lisa, check out Mariana's latest post. she reveals all!! :) Glad to see you around and they gardening is on hold, the local water restrictions now only allow for watering once a week.. and my plants are hurting :(

Thanks Mariana, stop by whenever. There is always something to do in the water, so you'll do fine with your experience.

Hi George, yes, this is my style. :) I appreciate your kind words.

Nick that 1st pic is pretty neat! What is it..a movie theater? I can see you playing Polo, Ha!

I love that view up the steps to the theater at city place.

I heard they consulted with Disney's designers when they planned City Place to get a good look and feel... without having 2-3 stories around you seem too claustrophobic

I also read that the Muvico Theaters Parisian 20 there is getting renovated soon... maybe they'll add a Premier level like in Boca.

Best spot in there?  Improv City Place!

Hi Danny, yes, it's a Movie Theather.. as David mentions, Muvico. I like Cityplace.. it has a nice vibe to it!

Hey David, It does have a nice feel to it and it's quite open. they just put in a new aluminum roof to the small stage area. It actually lifts and lowers.. pretty neat.

Improv is nice.. so it Wet Willies right next door. The food in the restaurant is also quite tasty. Overall, something for almost anyone.

Hi Kenny. Loxahatche has seen growth, and will continue. There is a market for folks that enjoy what the Acreage and Loxahatchee offers. Large lots, equestrian lifestyle, lots of space for toys, boats, trailers, trucks, ancillary buildings, barns, paddocks, and more. I think i saw some Llama out there not long ago.

Glad your enjoying it. :)

i'll leave the plug up this time, but you'll hook me up when i need fill, yes? ;)
