St. Augustine Sunday Weekly Restaurant Crawl

Dan and I have discovered a great new restaurant at St. Augustine Beach, Haszard's Open Pit Beef . At first the name threw me... but we discovered, the owners Tim and Sharon Haszard are from the Maryland area where open-pit beef is all the rage!

At Haszard's Open Pit Beef they serve up traditional Maryland-style open-pit beef, open pit turkey & ham sandwiches, true Maryland-style crab cakes, half smokes and hot dogs! Delicious sides like hand-cut boardwalk fries, homemade cole slaw and soups, salads and a homemade dessert of the day are also offered at this authentic Maryland barbeque restaurant.

Every once in a while specials like chicken and dumplings with pie crust "crackers", spicy steamed shrimp, pinto beans & cornbread and beef stew may be served. Beverages include sodas, iced tea, beer and wine. Haszard's Open Pit Beef has a casual and fun dining atmosphere.

Haszard's Open Pit Beef hosts live music Friday evenings from 6-9pm. Tim and Sharon Haszard will entertain you with easy listening, classic rock, country and oldies. Open for lunch and dinner; dine in or take out. Delicious food at affordable prices at Haszard's Open Pit Beef at beautiful Butler Beach in historic Saint Augustine.
