Ted Tyndall - St. Augustine, Florida: Golf Courses

"Some of the Top St. Johns County Golf Courses"

I have four Golf Courses that I particularly like in St. Johns County.

THE PLAYERS Stadium Course: The following description was obtained from the TPC website.

This course has been named one of the Top 50 Golf Courses in the World by Golf Magazine, our newly renovated signature course is revered as the home of one of professional golf's most prestigious competitions: THE PLAYERS Championship. Here you will face the same challenges that have tested the skill and resolve of the game's greatest players-including the formidable par-3 17th Island Green, one of the "World's Most Photographed Holes."& 3. Nestled between St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Florida, the World Golf Village offers 36 holes of championship golf that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

The World Golf Village Courses:

Not only do our courses sit in the shadow of the World Golf Hall of Fame, but they are also the only golf courses in the world designed as collaboration between Hall of Famers - Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. These great golf legends put aside professional rivalry and developed our renowned King and Bear and Slammer and Squire golf courses, respectively.

Palencia Golf Course:

Amid Palencia's numerous amenities, none is more heralded than the championship Arthur Hills- designed golf course. Shaped by the natural beauty of the land, this 7,071 yard masterpiece winds through centuries-old maritime oak trees and along the Intracoastal Waterway and the Tolomato River. The 16th hole journeys out to the savannahs and up to a picturesque green that overlooks pleasure boats casually passing on the Intracoastal Waterway. Palencia has one of the Private courses in the area.
