The barrier island Lido Key is connected to the mainland by the John Ringling Causeway. On the island are a number of dining options, including Columbia, The Blue Dolphin Cafe, and Cha-Cha Coconuts. There are also many unique shopping opportunities as well, such as the clothing store Oh My Gauze, the jewelery store La Perlelle, and the ice cream shop at Ben & Jerry's.
