All of these parks sound like great places to spend an afternoon picnicking or out on the boat having fun.  We really enjoy reading your posts about the Tampa area.

Did someone said jest skies? I am coming. :)

Cyndee this is a great piece.  Can you show us where to catch the fish that are 1. edible.  2. big enough to keep.  (besides the grocery or fish market)

Excellent Info!!  We are FRESH WATER BOATERS and appreciate all that information.  It's amazing how you'll drive all the way to Pinellas County for GREAT BOAT RAMPS and BEAUTIFUL PARKS!!  We've experienced Lake Tarpon and the boat ramps are really nice, parks are clean and beautiful.  The kids love all the awesome playground equipment on top of it all!!  THANKS for sharing!!

Cyndee, your fishing licenses are so cheap ! Amazing what different parts of the country charge.

Cyndee: Nice! You just have so much information to share. Keep it coming!

Great info and pics!  You always do your localism posts so organized!

Rita - thanks for stopping by - glad you can enjoy our beautiful parks online :-)

Mana - yep - jet skiis are popular here. Attach it to the RV when you come (tee hee hee)

Chris - Thanks for the kudos. I see I've got more homework - I'll see what I can add for you - Did I mention i'm not a big fish eater myself :-)

Susie - when do I get to ride in that boat? Anywhere you are is F-U-N - count me in.

Missy - what are fishing licenses in Ann Arbor MI?

Paula - I appreciate the support - we do have so much to offer here it makes it easy to share.

Sally - thank you for your kind words - I feel the same about your Hawaii articles too - keep 'em coming.

Cyndee this looks great. So many parks with so much to offer.

Do you have lots of parks in Albuquerque, Ashley? We are truly blessed with so many here.

Cyndee, funny thing about this post - I never think of FL and lakes - I think gulf and ocean - what a great post to bring this to the attention of buyers - you are the expert

Thesa - thank you - actually we have lots of Freshwater lakes and some beautiful estates on many of them - especially in the Land o Lakes, Lutz and Odessa area North east of Tarpon Springs. It is funny how many things we take for granted - I'm still amazed at all you've taught me about La Pine Oregon and the area.

Cyndee, I just got a flashback from when I lived in Palm Harbor for a year in 1990 (near the intersection of Tampa Rd. & McMullen Booth Rd.).  The area has changed quite a bit since then but I loved going to John Chestnut Sr. Park & A.L. Anderson Park.

Leanne, thanks for stopping by - the preserved Greenspace via parks is one of my favorite things about Pinellas County - especially since we are basically "built out" - hope to see you back soon.

When I lived in Pinellas, I think they were just getting the Pinellas Trail started.  Also, once in a while I'd enjoy my lunch at the boat ramp area on the Belleair Beach Causeway and most times I'd get lucky and see dolphins nearby.  Do you still see dolphins in Clearwater Harbor?

Leanne - did you see my post, In Belleair Beach, Florida - You're over 50 and Scrapped for a Newer Model - the Belleair Causeway is UNDER CONSTRUCTION big time until 2010 (YIKES) - Yes we do see Dolphins in the intercoastal and along the beach - they're my favorite too.

Here's a shot of the causeway I took yesterday (I have a new listing right here)

belleair causeway bridge under construction july 2007

Now that you mention it, I think I did see your post but never got around to commenting on it (I was distracted by a phone call and had to head out).  Three years of construction?!?!  Sheesh... I wouldn't want to live near there during that time.  I can vividly recall that same image in your photo (minus the construction work).  There was (is?) a shopping center to the left a little before getting on the causeway where I'd get delicious ice cream shakes.  I think the place was called Larry's or something like that.

Did someone say ICE CREAM SHOP - Hot summer days and cool ice cream parlor - LETS GO!!!!!!!
