What's Happening in St. Augustine - November 18-20, 2011

It's going to be another great weekend in the St. Augustine area this weekend. This is the weekend that begins the Nights of Lights in St. Augustine! The whole city has lots of tiny white lights from November 19th - January 31, 2012.

Don't forget the Super Scenic 72-Mile Garage Sale on Saturday, November 19th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in St. Johns and Flagler counties.

Friday, November 18th

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Holiday Shoppes at Ponte Vedra Cultural Center - 50 Executive Way. $5 Admission

6 p.m. - Unveiling of a cannon at the St. Augustine Lighthouse - 81 Lighthouse Avenue. The unveiling is at 7 p.m. $20 donation

Saturday, November 19th

9:30 a.m. Kid's Race

8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Super Scenic 72-Mile Garage Sale

9 a.m. - noon Cruise to Ft. Matanzas from Vilano Boat Ramp. $30/person

10 a.m - noon Kayak Tour - Call 904-377-7256 for reservations. $40/adult, $35 ages 6-12.

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. 16th-century Spanish Florida Heritage event - Mission Nombre de Dios Museum on San Marco Ave.

11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Tolomato Cemetery Tours

12:30 p.m - 8:30 p.m. Kids Rock the Nation - St. Augustine Amphitheatre

1 p.m. Salt Marshes of Ft. Mose; $2/person. Children under 6 free

6:30 Nights of Lights Celebration - downtown St. Augustine

Sunday, November 20th

6:05 a.m. St. Augustine Full and Half Marathon
