Just recently surfaced or maybe resurrected is this video that's almost 50 years old, of what Stuart, Florida was like “back then”.

My wife, who was born in Stuart was thrilled to see this long forgotten video as it brought back many lost memories from her childhood. After seeing it, she spent some time explaining some of the finer moments that she remembered from these videos.

Some highlights include the then recently completed Martin Memorial Hospital and the ‘new’ Martin County High School. Not to mention our local paper the Stuart News, which at that time was published on Wednesdays only! If you have a 19 minutes to spare, sit back, relax and see what Stuart was like back in 1964.
