Tampa Bay Real Estate ~ First I'd like to say Thank you to the founders of Active Rain for this Real Estate Community This is such a wonderful opportunity to work with so many talented real estate and mortage professionals from not only Clearwater and the Tampa Bay area - but across the country as well.
Yesterday I am proud to say I passed the 100,000 points mark which measures our involvement in a variety of areas in the on-line real estate community. So as we approach the 4th of July - the celebration begins....
Are you New to Active Rain and asking, "So how'd she do it?" I can tell I did NOT do it alone, that's for sure, this is called a community for a reason - it's about giving and receiving and.... for my part since joining Active Rain:
From the community there were so many others that helped me along the way from Sarah Cooper and Maggie Dokic welcoming me, Ray Saenz encouraging me early on, Broker Bryant showing professional belief in me, Karen George for sharing what she knows, Teresa Boardman for taking time to coach me along, and many other kind members along the way.
I have learned so much about real estate "blogging" and owe a special thanks to 3 women of Active Rain, Laurie Manny, Kristal Kraft and Ines Garcia, each of whom has mentored me in their own special way as I've learned to dance in the rain, however, if you asked them, I'm willing to bet that each would probably humbly deny it because that's who they are - givers and leaders in this special community.
I have been blessed to have made so many special new friendships here and treasure them all. I would like to share this milestone with 5 special friends who dance in the rain with me daily.... Ashley Drake Gephart, Mana Tulberg, Susie Roscoe, Thesa Chambers, & Paula Henry - thanks for your ongoing support and friendship.
Finally, even Caleb Mardini can be found doing the happy dance on this special occasion :-) (ok so I hijack this from the Active Rain birthday party - but it works for me :-))
The best part of Active Rain professionally has been all the new customers we've been able to meet and serve. We have closed 2 contracts this week and are working on 2 more. We are also working with 3 relocation home buyers who found us through ActiveRain and Localism - and that has made the journey that much sweeter. Again I beleive it's a journey of giving and receiving.
Finally, Thank you to all the friends I've made and all the information so many have shared with me along the way. Looking forward to getting to know you better in as the journey continues.
